In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
