۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
