And this (Qur'an) is a revelation from the Lord of all the worlds, 192 Which the trustworthy Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] has brought down; 193 Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners - 194 It has been revealed in plain Arabic. 195 Surely, it is foretold in the ancient scriptures. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 If We had sent it down on a barbarian 198 And he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it. 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 They will not believe it until they behold the painful punishment. 201 But when it comes upon them suddenly, taking them unawares, 202 Then they will say: Shall we be respited? 203 Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on? 204 Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, 205 And then cometh that which they were promised, 206 of what avail would their past enjoyment be to them? 207 We never destroyed any town without first sending to them warning and guidance. 208 To warn. For We are never unjust. 209 And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Quran) down, 210 for, neither does it suit their ends, nor is it in their power [to impart it to man]: 211 Most surely they are far removed from the hearing of it. 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 And warn thy clan, thy nearest kin. 214 Lower thy wing to those who follow thee, being believers; 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 And your movements among those who fall prostrate (along with you to Allah in the five compulsory congregational prayers). 219 He is All-hearing and All-knowing." 220 Shall I tell you on whom the Satans come down? 221 They descend upon every lying, sinful one, 222 Who gives ear (to the devils and they pour what they may have heard of the unseen from the angels), and most of them are liars. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 And that they say that which they do not? 226 Save those who believe and do good works, and remember Allah much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged. Those who do wrong will come to know by what a (great) reverse they will be overturned! 227
