۞ Say to them, (O Prophet): “I give you but one counsel: stand up (for heaven's sake), singly and in pairs, and then think: what is it in your companion (to wit, Muhammad) that could be deemed as madness?” He is nothing but a warner, warning you before the coming of a grevious chastisement. 46 Say: "The reward I ask is for yourself. My reward is due from none but God; and He is witness over everything." 47 Say: Lo! my Lord hurleth the truth. (He is) the Knower of Things Hidden. 48 Say: “The Truth has come and falsehood can neither originate nor recreate anything.” 49 Affirm, "If I am in error, I shall carry the burden thereof; and if I am rightly guided, it is because of what my Lord has revealed to me. Truly, He is all-hearing and near at hand." 50 And if you could but see, when they will be terrified with no escape (for them), and they will be seized from a near place. 51 and say: 'We believe in it' But how can they reach from a place that is distant, 52 since they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a distant place? 53 A gulf will exist between them and their desires on the Day of Judgment like the similar people who lived before. They, too, had lived in doubt and uncertainty (about the life hereafter). 54
