Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ The Reality! 1 What is the Inevitable Hour? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that laying-bare of the truth will be? 3 Thamud and 'Ad people denied the Qari'ah [the striking Hour (of Judgement)]! 4 The Thamuds were destroyed by a violent blast of sound. 5 and the Ad were destroyed by a furiously raging wind-storm 6 Which He made to prevail against them for seven nights and eight days unremittingly, so that you might have seen the people therein prostrate as if they were the trunks of hollow palms. 7 and dost thou now see any remnant of them? 8 Pharoah and those before him and the inhabitants of the overthrown cities persistently committed grave sins. 9 They disobeyed the Messenger of their Lord and He seized them with torment which increased with time. 10 When the water rose in flood, We bore you in the ark, 11 That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it. 12 And when the trumpet is blown with a single blast, 13 And the earth and the mountains shall be borne and the twain shall be crushed with a single crash. 14 Then, on that day will the Event befall. 15 And the sky will be rent asunder, for on that Day it will be so frail. 16 And the angels will be on its sides, and eight will, that Day, bear the Throne of thy Lord above them. 17 On that Day you shall be exposed, and no secret of yours will remain hidden. 18 So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record! 19 Surely I knew that I should have to meet my reckoning. 20 His shall be a pleasing life 21 in a high Garden, 22 The fruits in bunches whereof will be low and near at hand. 23 (They will be told): “Eat and drink with good cheer as a reward for the good deeds you did in the days that have passed by.” 24 And whoever is given his book in his left hand he will say, “Alas, if only my account were not given to me!” 25 And not known my account! 26 Oh, would that it had been the ending! 27 "Of no profit to me has been my wealth! 28 There hath perished from me my authority. 29 (It will be said): "Seize him and fetter him, 30 “Then hurl him into the blazing fire.” 31 And then insert him in a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits. 32 He did not believe in God the supreme, 33 Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor. 34 Wherefore for him here this Day there is no friend. 35 "Nor hath he any food except the corruption from the washing of wounds, 36 None will eat except the Khati'un (sinners, disbelievers, polytheists, etc.). 37

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
