In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
ALL PRAISE BE to God, the originator of the heavens and the earth, who appointed angels as His messengers, with wings, two, three and four. He adds what He pleases to His creation. He has certainly power over everything. 1 What Allah out of his Mercy doth bestow on mankind there is none can withhold: what He doth withhold, there is none can grant, apart from Him: and He is the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom. 2 O people, remember Allah's favour upon you. Is there any creator, apart from Allah, who provides you your sustenance out of the heavens and earth? There is no god but He. Whither are you, then, being misdirected? 3 If they call you a liar, so have other messengers been denied before you. But all things will be brought back to God. 4 O you people, the promise of God is true. So do not let the life of this world delude you, nor let that (arch) deceiver deceive you about God. 5 Verily the Satan is an enemy unto you, wherefore hold him for an enemy; he only calleth his confederates that they become of the fellows of the Blaze. 6 Those who disbelieve, theirs will be a severe torment; and those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise). 7
