You are not engaged in any matter, neither do you recite any portion of the Koran, nor do you do any work, except that We are witnesses over you when you press upon it. Not even as much as the weight of an ant in earth or heaven escapes your Lord, nor is there anything smaller or greater, but it is (recorded) in a Clear Book. 61 The friends of God will certainly have nothing to fear, nor will they be grieved. 62 Those who believe and keep their duty (to Allah). 63 They shall have good news in this world's life and in the hereafter; there is no changing the words of Allah; that is the mighty achievement. 64 Do not let their speech grieve you. All might belongs to Allah. He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 65 Lo! verily Allah's is whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is on the earth. And what is it that they follow who call unto associate-gods beside Allah? They follow but an opinion, and they are but conjecturing. 66 It is He who made for you the night to rest therein and the day, giving sight. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen. 67 They say, 'God has taken to Him a son. Glory be to Him! He is All-sufficient; to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth; you have no authority for this. What, do you say concerning God that you know not? 68 Say: "Verily, those who invent lie against Allah will never be successful" 69 A brief enjoyment in this world! - and then unto Us will be their return, then We shall make them taste the severest torment because they used to disbelieve [in Allah, belie His Messengers, deny and challenge His Ayat (proofs, signs, verses, etc.)]. 70
