The dwellers of the wood belied the sent ones. 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 So fear God and follow me. 179 I do not ask any payment for my preaching. I shall receive my reward from the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ Give full measure and do not cheat; 181 and weigh with the straight scale, 182 and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. 183 And fear Him who created you and all the earlier people." 184 They said: "You are no more than one of those who have been bewitched, 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 Then drop down on us lumps from heaven, if thou art one of the truthful.' 187 He said, "My Lord knows all that you do." 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 190 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 191
