1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather together those who did wrong and their comrades and that which they were wont to worship 22 besides God, and lead them to the path of the Fire; 23 And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." 24 "What is the matter with you? Why do you not help one another (as you used to do in the world)?" 25 No, today they will resign themselves in submission, 26 And they will turn to one another and question one another. 27 These say, 'Why, you of old would come to us from the right hand.' 28 They will say, "No! It was you who would not believe -- 29 We had no power over you, but ye were wayward folk. 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 So we led you astray; we ourselves were strayed.” 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 Lo! thus deal We with the guilty. 34 Verily when it was said unto them: there is no god but Allah, they ever grew stiff-necked. 35 And (they) said: "Are we going to abandon our aliha (gods) for the sake of a mad poet? 36 Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers. 37 Now certainly you shall be tasting the painful chastisement, 38 And you shall not be rewarded except (for) what you did. 39 But the sincere servants of God 40 For them awaits a known provision, 41 Fruits; and they will be honored 42 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise), 43 They will be seated upon couches set face to face; 44 a goblet from a spring shall be passed round to them 45 clear, delightful to those who drink it: 46 No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated. 47 They will have with them loving wives with big black and white eyes 48 As if they were eggs, safely hidden. 49 Then they will turn to one another and question one another. 50 A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world), 51 "Who used to say, 'what! art thou amongst those who bear witness to the Truth (of the Message)? 52 Can we, when we are dead and have become mere dust and bones - can we (then) verily be brought to book? 53 He will say: -- Do you wish to know where he is now?' 54 Then, he will look and see him in the midst of Hell. 55 He will say, "By God! You almost brought me to ruin! 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 What then, shall we not die 58 Other than our first death, and we shall not be punished? 59 Verily, this - this indeed - is the triumph supreme!" 60 for which one must strive hard. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 Which We have reserved as punishment for evil-doers? 63 For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hellfire: 64 its fruit [as repulsive] as satans' heads; 65 They will eat from it and fill their bellies with it; 66 Washing it down with boiling water. 67 then their return is to Hell. 68 They found their fathers in error, 69 So in their footsteps they are being hastened on. 70 Before them a multitude of people of olden times had erred, 71 And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers); 72 Then see how was the end of those warned, 73 Except the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, and true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 74
