THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
