We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
