And make mention in the Scripture of Moses. Lo! he was chosen, and he was a messenger (of Allah), a prophet. 51 And [remember how] We called upon him from the right-hand slope of Mount Sinai and drew him near [unto Us] in mystic communion, 52 And We bestowed upon him of Our mercy his brother Aaron, a prophet (likewise). 53 And mention thou in the Book lsma'il; verily he was true in promise, and was apostle, prophet. 54 He used to enjoin on his people Prayer and Charity, and he was most acceptable in the sight of his Lord. 55 And mention thou in the book ldris, verily he was a man of truth, a prophet. 56 and We exalted him to a lofty position. 57 These are they on whom Allah bestowed favors, from among the prophets of the seed of Adam, and of those whom We carried with Nuh, and of the seed of Ibrahim and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose; when the communications of the Beneficent Allah were recited to them, they fell down making obeisance and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Then there succeeded them a posterity who neglected the prayers and followed lusts; so presently they shall meet with perdition. 59 but those among them who repent and become righteously striving believers will be admitted to the gardens without experiencing any injustice. 60 [Therein are] gardens of perpetual residence which the Most Merciful has promised His servants in the unseen. Indeed, His promise has ever been coming. 61 No empty talk will they hear there - nothing but [tidings of] inner soundness and peace; and there will they have their sustenance by day and by night: 62 this is the paradise which We grant as a heritage unto such of Our servants as are conscious of Us. 63 (Gabriel said:) 'We do not descend except at the command of your Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us, and all that lies between. Your Lord does not forget. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – therefore worship Him and be firm in His worship; do you know any other of the same name as His? 65
