Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
