Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 [on that Day] none will have [the benefit of] intercession unless he has [in his lifetime] entered into a bond with the Most Gracious. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 On the Day of Resurrection each one of these will come to Him singly. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
