Al-Dukhaan 2 of 3

Thus did We deliver the Children of Israel from the humiliating chastisement, 30 and from the Pharaoh. He was the chief of the transgressors. 31 And We knowingly chose them, among all others of their time. 32 And We gave them of the communications wherein was clear blessing. 33 Indeed these disbelievers proclaim; – 34 There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 “Therefore bring back our forefathers, if you are truthful!” 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those who were before them whom We destroyed? Indeed they were sinners. 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is in-between the twain sporting. 38 none of this have We created without [an inner] truth: but most of them understand it not. 39 Verily the Day of sorting out is the time appointed for all of them,- 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 save him upon whom God has mercy; He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 42
