We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
