Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
