The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 there is no denying its coming 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 So that they become dust seattered. 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 They are in Gardens of peace. 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations). 14 (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones, 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 and clustered bananas, 29 and extended shade, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 And made them virgins. 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
