▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
