۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a book that is protected 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 If he is among the near 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
