Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ The Inevitable Hour! 1 What is the Inevitable Hour? 2 What do you comprehend by the concrete reality? 3 The people of Thamud and Ad denied the Day of Judgment. 4 As for Thamood, they were destroyed by the Screamer; 5 and as for Ad, they were destroyed by a wind clamorous, 6 that He subjected upon them for seven nights and eight days consecutively and you might have seen them struck down as if they were the stumps of palm trees that had fallen down. 7 and dost thou now see any remnant of them? 8 And Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and those before him, and the cities overthrown [the towns of the people of [Lout (Lot)] committed sin, 9 They defied their Lord's messenger, so He seized them with an ever-tightening grip. 10 Lo! when the waters rose, We carried you upon the ship 11 That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it. 12 And when the trumpet shall sound one blast 13 the earth and mountains will be raised up high and crushed all together. 14 On that Day will come what is to come. 15 And the sky will be rent asunder, for on that Day it will be so frail. 16 The angels will appear by its sides and, on that Day, eight [angels] will bear your Lord's throne above them. 17 On that Day you shall be brought to judgment: not [even] the most hidden of your deeds will remain hidden. 18 Then as for him who is given his book in his right hand, he will say: Lo! read my book: 19 Indeed, I knew that I should come to my reckoning' 20 Then he shall find himself in a life of bliss; 21 In a lofty garden, 22 with its fruits within easy reach. 23 (And it will be said unto those therein): Eat and drink at ease for that which ye sent on before you in past days. 24 However, those who will receive the books of the records of their deeds in their left hands will say, "We wish that this record had never been given to us 25 And not known my account! 26 I wish death had put an end to me. 27 My wealth has availed me nothing: 28 and my authority has vanished.” 29 (It will be said): Take him and fetter him 30 “Then hurl him into the blazing fire.” 31 "Then fasten him with a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits!" 32 He did not believe in God the supreme, 33 nor would he urge the feeding of the poor. 34 Therefor hath he no lover here this day, 35 and no food except pus 36 "Which none do eat but those in sin." 37

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
