Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
