What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
