The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
(On the day) when the sun is made to cease shining, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 The mountains made to move, 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 And when the wild animals are made to go forth, 5 And when the seas are set on fire, 6 And when the souls he paired, 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 For what crime she was put to death; 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 And when the garden is brought nigh, 13 [on that Day] every human being will come to know what he has prepared [for himself]. 14 So verily I call to witness the planets - that recede, 15 The planets withdrawing into themselves, 16 and sit during the day, or by the darkening night 17 And the breath of morning 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon. 23 And he is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. 25 Where then will you go? 26 That is but an advice to the entire creation! 27 For whoever wills among you to take a right course. 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
Almighty God's Truth.
