The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the sky containing great stars 1 by the promised day, 2 And by the witnessing day (i.e. Friday), and by the witnessed day [i.e. the day of 'Arafat (Hajj) the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah]; 3 destroyed were the people of the trench, 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 Nay, but this [divine writ which they reject] is a discourse sublime, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
