The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
