The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
