Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 relieved you of the burden 2 that had well-nigh broken your back? 3 And exalted for you your esteem? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
