The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
