The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
