The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In outstretched columns. 9
