Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
