Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, fixed mountains thereupon and caused everything to grow to its proper weight 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
