The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
