Didst thou (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away, 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.
