The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
