The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
