The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
READ in the name of thy Sustainer, who has created 1 Createth man from a clot. 2 Read: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous, 3 who taught by the pen, 4 Hath taught man that which he knew not. 5 Nay, verily, man becomes grossly overweening 6 Because he sees himself self-sufficient. 7 However, (all things) will return to your Lord. 8 Have you seen the one who prohibits 9 a servant [of God] from praying? 10 What is your opinion – if he were upon guidance, 11 Or enjoins righteousness? 12 Do you see how he has denied the truth and turned away from it? 13 Does he, then, not know that God sees [all]? 14 Nay! if he desist not, We would certainly smite his forehead, 15 A lying, sinful forehead. 16 So let him call his associates, 17 We, will call the Zabania (the harsh angels of Hell). 18 Nay, pay thou no heed to him, but prostrate thyself [before God] and draw close [unto Him]! ۩ 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
