The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
