Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 They who would be seen, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
