Surely, God will not forgive the ascribing of partners to Him. He forgives whoever He will for anything other than that. Whoever ascribes partners to God has strayed far indeed. 116 They do not call besides Him on anything but idols, and they do not call on anything but a rebellious Shaitan. 117 whom God has rejected. He said [to God], "I will assuredly take a number of Your servants, 118 Verily, I will mislead them, and surely, I will arouse in them false desires; and certainly, I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by Allah." And whoever takes Shaitan (Satan) as a Wali (protector or helper) instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss. 119 He gives them promises and excites vain desires in them; and the Shaitan does not promise them but to deceive. 120 The destination for such is hell; they will not find any refuge from it. 121 But those that believe, and do deeds of righteousness, them We shall admit to gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein dwelling for ever and ever; God's promise in truth; and who is truer in speech than God? 122 It will not be in accordance with your desires (Muslims), nor those of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), whosoever works evil, will have the recompense thereof, and he will not find any protector or helper besides Allah. 123 And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer - those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed. 124 And who is there that has a fairer religion than he who submits his will to God being a good-doer, and who follows the creed of Abraham, a man of pure faith? And God took Abraham for a friend. 125 And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is Ever Encompassing all things. 126
