And truly, this (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 192 It has been revealed through the trustworthy Spirit 193 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners 194 In the plain Arabic language. 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 And if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners 198 and had he recited it unto them [in his own tongue,] they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused this [message] to pass [unheeded] through the hearts of those who are lost in sin: 200 they shall not believe in it until they see the painful punishment 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are not aware, 202 They will therefore say, “Will we get some respite?” 203 Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? 204 Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years 205 and then the promised punishment fell upon them, 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners 208 We have never been unjust to anyone. 209 The devils did not bring it down. 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 indeed they are debarred from overhearing it. 212 So do not call upon another god with Allah, lest you should be one of those who are punished. 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 And spread your wing of mercy for the believers following you. 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate, 217 Who observes you when you rise (to pray) 218 And your movements among those who bow in homage to God. 219 Surely He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 220 Should I tell you to whom the satans come? 221 They descend upon every sinful liar. 222 The devils convey upon them what they heard, but most of them are liars. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 Hast thou not seen how they stray in every valley, 225 and preaching what they themselves never practice. 226 [Most of them are of this kind] save those who have attained to faith, and do righteous deeds, and remember God unceasingly, and defend themselves [only] after having been wronged, and [trust in God's promise that] those who are bent on wrongdoing will in time come to know how evil a turn their destinies are bound to take! 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
