No, by the moon! 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
