The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By [the winds] that pluck out vehemently 1 By the angels who release with gentle release. 2 By the lone stars floating, 3 and those that outstrip suddenly 4 And those who govern the event, 5 The Day when the quaking will cause a violent convulsion, 6 And the following event will come after it. 7 Hearts will pound loudly on that day, 8 [and] their eyes downcast... 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 After having turned to carious bones?" 11 They shall say, 'That then were a losing return!' 12 But it shall be only a single scare, 13 And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. 14 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa! 15 When his Lord called upon him in the holy valley, twice, 16 That “Go to Firaun – he has rebelled.” 17 And say (unto him): Hast thou (will) to grow (in grace)? 18 And I will guide you to your Lord so that you should fear. 19 So he showed him the greater sign; 20 In response, he denied and disobeyed. 21 Then he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 Then he gathered (men) and called out. 23 and proclaimed, "I am your supreme Lord," 24 But Allah did punish him, (and made an) example of him, - in the Hereafter, as in this life. 25 Surely there is a great lesson in it for whoever would fear (Allah). 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
