[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
