So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see! 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it). 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
