The dwellers in El-Hijr cried lies to the Envoys. 80 And We gave them Our communications, but they turned aside from them; 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 and so the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at early morn, 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad SAW), their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad holy fighting in Allah's Cause]. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator of all things, the Knowing. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated, and the mighty Koran. 87 Do not yearn for other people's property and wives and do not grieve (that they do not believe). Be kind to the believers. 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 concerning what they have been doing. 93 Preach what you have been commanded to and stay away from the pagans. 94 We suffice thee against the mockers, 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 Indeed, We know that your breast is straitened at what they say. 97 Therefore proclaim the Purity of your Lord with praise, and be of those who prostrate. 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99
