The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
