The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Therefore rely on Allah; you are indeed upon the clear Truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
