The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. 1 He sends down the angels with inspiration of His Command to whom of His slaves He pleases (saying): "Warn mankind that La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so fear Me (by abstaining from sins and evil deeds). 2 He created the heavens and the earth with truth. Exalted is He above what they associate (with Him)! 3 Man He created from a drop of semen; and still he becomes an open contender. 4 And the cattle He created for you. In them, you have warmth and other uses, and of them you eat. 5 and you find beauty in them when you drive them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to regions which you could not reach but with distress of the souls; most surely your Lord is Compassionate, Merciful. 7 And [He created] the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and [as] adornment. And He creates that which you do not know. 8 And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. 9
